In 2023, roughly 33 million air passengers traveled with LATAM Airlines in Brazil. This represents the airline’s largest segment, surpassing 43 percent of the number of passengers transported in its other domestic markets

However, after the first shock, the Chilean airline company started rebounding progressively. As of 2023, the operating revenue of the company amounted to 11.8 billion U.S. dollars which represents an 24 percent increase year-over-year. That year, the company’s net income stayed in positive terrain after registering considerable net losses in 2020 and 2021.
