This graph displays the share of CFO respondents who consider United Kingdom (UK) businesses and the UK economy to have benefitted from EU membership in various areas. A total of 89 percent or CFOs stated that the EU is beneficial for UK export performance, 86 percent stated that the membership attract foreign direct investment. Although, 15 percent of CFOs stated that they found the EU’s regulatory and compliance framework to be beneficial.
