Total number of defaulters on health insurance in the Netherlands 2010-2022, by age
The number of Dutch people failing to pay their health insurance fees fell to a decade-long low in 2022. The data listed on defaulters concern people who have not paid a fee for their health insurance for at least six months. In 2022, approximately 22,000 people from 25 to 30 years old did not pay the fee of their health insurance for at least six months. This is the lowest number reached since 2010.
