This statistic presents the results of a survey concerning the brand and price awareness when buying fashion and clothing articles in Germany from 2014 to 2021. During the 2021 survey period it was found that 40.7 percent of the German-speaking population aged 14 years and older stated that for them the brand was a more important factor than the price.

2016: 23,102 respondents, projected base of 69.56 million people
2017: 23,106 respondents, projected base of 70.09 million people
2018: 23,086 respondents, projected base of 70.45 million people
2019: 23,120 respondents, projected base of 70.60 million people
2020: 23,138 respondents, projected base of 70.63 million people
