This statistic represents the share of U.S. voters, based on their level of concern about global warming, as of March 2016. At that point in time, about 28 percent of those polled responded that they were concerned about global warming. Those who indicated they were "alarmed" were very worried about the issue and strongly supported both government and individual action to address warming. Those who were "dismissive" did not believe in global warming and were likely to believe in conspiracy theories regarding the issue.
