Economic inactivity rate in Italy 2019-2020, by gender
Between 2019 and 2020, Italy's economic inactivity rate experienced an increase. As of the fourth quarter of 2020, the economic inactivity rate of males aged 15 to 64 years stood at 26.3 percent, whereas female inactivity rate was considerably higher (45.3 percent).
