Volume of beer sold in Germany 2022-2024

In August 2024, the German beer market recorded taxed sales of almost 6.2 million hectoliters. The sales figures do not include non-alcoholic beers, the breweries' tax-free home brew and exported volumes. Compared to August 2023, taxed domestic sales thus decreased by around 4.5 percent.
