From 2000 until 2014, there were more women than men dying in Denmark. However, after a few years of nearly similar number of deaths, there have been more male than female deaths in the Scandinavian country. In 2022, over 30,000 men and 29,000 women died in Denmark. The total number of deaths in the country has increased since 2014.
