This statistic shows the total value in assets of monetary gold reserves in the Netherlands from 2006 to 2016, in million euros. In 2016, the Netherlands had a gold reserve worth 21.6 billion euros. This is an increase from the 19.2 billion euros in 2015 and the highest number reached since 2012.

Monetary gold includes all gold, which is not intended for industrial purposes and not held in the form of valuables. Monetary gold can only be held by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB).
The source states that there has been a revision in the calculation of assets for financial corporations. The numbers from 2008 and later have been calculated using this revision. The results from 2005 to 2007 are unchanged.
