The results show that in 2022/23 women in the more deprived areas were more likely to use sexual and reproductive services. This statistic shows the share of women aged 13-54 using sexual and reproductive health services in England in 2022/23, by deprivation decile.

The IMD decile is calculated by ranking the 32,844 small areas of England in order, and dividing them into 10 equal groups. Those in group 1 are therefore in the 10% most deprived areas in the UK. Those in group 10 are in the 10% least deprived areas in the UK.
A person contacting a service multiple times during the year will only be counted once. Age is based on the first contact during the year. Excludes women who were resident outside of England.
Calculations based on ONS resident population estimates for mid 2019. This differs from other tables which have rates based on mid 2020 estimates, but which are not yet available at LSOA level.
