This data illustrates a distribution of opinions on economic risks for tourism companies in Germany in the next 12 months as of 2018. 68 percent of respondents from the accommodation establishments surveyed stated that shortage of skilled labor would be the most serious economic risk in the next 12 months.

Multiple answers were possible. **2,000 accommodation establishments, 1,800 gastronomy companies, 70 camping sites, 500 travel agencies and 150 tour operators. Starting summer 2018 it also includes the results of the general economic survey of the DIHK for the areas "traffic" (n = 1,700), "fairs, exhibition, congress" (n= 75) and "art, entertainment, relaxing" (n= 150).
