In 2022, China State Construction was named the most valuable engineering and construction brand worldwide, with a value of about 27.4 billion U.S. dollars, followed by the German brand Siemens which was valued at 22.4 billion U.S. dollars, and GE from the U.S. with 19.7 billion U.S. dollars.
China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), a state-owned construction company, is one of the China’s first global companies who has had a presence in the United States since the mid-80s. The company encompasses numerous construction and investment subsidiaries in fields of public infrastructure and residential real estate. Since 2012, the growth in total assets of the company has not undergone a pause and its gross profit has similarly been on the rise. In 2020, CSCEC generated revenue of 1.6 trillion yuan, the highest value in the company’s history.
Siemens, a German multinational conglomerate, reported a total revenue of around 62.3 billion euros in 2021, of which almost 30 percent came from its medical device subsidiary, Siemens Healthineers.
