Between 2012 and 2022, the sales value of food for dogs and cats in Italy experienced a constant increase. In 2012, the sales value amounted to almost 1.8 billion euros, while in 2022, this figure reached around 2.76 billion euros. Compared to 2021, sales of dog and cat food products grew by 11.4 percent in 2022.
