Avolta: revenue worldwide 2013-2023

As a result of the travel restrictions set worldwide amidst the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, revenues of Avolta, the company formerly known as Dufry, plummeted from 8.85 billion Swiss francs in 2019 to 2.56 billion in 2020. This represented a decrease of over 70 percent in comparison to a year earlier. By 2023, the company's revenues bounced back and amounted to about 12.5 billion Swiss francs.
Avolta is a Swiss-based travel retailer operating duty-free stores and convenience stores in airports, cruise lines, seaports, railways, and tourist areas. The company operates over 2,300 stores around the globe. The company rebranded from Dufry to Avolta in early 2024.
