SSE's total GHG emissions have fallen 48 percent since the 2017/18 base year. SSE aims to cut absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 72.5 percent by 2030, relative to 2017/18.

Excludes immaterial GHG emissions from Keadby 2 gas-fired power station, which was in the final stages of testing from September 2022 and was handed over to SSE on 15 March 2023.
