According to a survey from 2019, 20 percent of Finnish people estimated that their music consumption had increased during the last 12 months. Music consumption increased the most among young people aged 16 to 24 years in Finland. Around 37 percent of 16 to 24 year-olds listened to music more within the last 12 months, while the corresponding figure among 25 to 24 year-olds was 22 percent.
