It can be seen that the number of commercial bank branches in Central Europe and the Baltics decreased overall during the period under observation, reaching a total of nearly 22 branches per 100,000 adults as of 2021. The highest number of branches during this time was found in 2011 when a total of 32.58 branches per 100,000 adults were recorded.
