Energy from renewable sources used for heating and cooling in the UK 2010-2020
Renewable energy used for heating and cooling in the United Kingdom rose to its peak, peaking at 3.5 million metric tons of oil equivalent in 2020. Between 2010 and 2020, figures more than doubled, increasing by 1.4 million metric tons of oil equivalent. The record low was recorded in 2011, at some 1.7 million metric tons of oil equivalent.
