The number of mammographs in Hungary increased by five mammographs (+3.45 percent) in 2017. Therefore, the number of mammographs in Hungary reached a peak in 2017 with 150 mammographs. Mammography is essential in the fight against breast cancer, the most prevalent type of cancer among women. Many countries around the world introduced breast cancer screening programs to be able to detect the disease as early as possible, with mammography machines being one of the most important tools.
