A survey conducted by the United Kingdom's Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport from May 2023 to March 2024 analyzed the share of adults who visited a heritage site in England in the previous 12 months. While 40 percent of respondents reported having visited a park or garden with historic or artistic features, just four percent of the sample mentioned having visited a site connected with sports heritage.
