EU-27: major producers' output of hot rolled products 2010-2022
In 2022, Germany was by far the leading hot rolled steel producer in the European Union, with around 31.8 million metric tons produced. This is a year-on-year decrease of nearly nine percent compared to the previous year. That year, Italy was the second leading country in the EU-27, registering a production volume of approximately 21.6 million metric tons.
