Rocket League is a sports video game developed by Psyonix and released in July 2015 on Xbox One, Windows and PlayStation 4. The game combines elements from both racing and soccer games - each player controls a vehicle which is used to strike a ball with the aim of scoring in the opposing goal. In the five years since its launch, five billion matches of Rocket League have been played, with gamers scoring a combined total of 29 billion goals.
