This statistic displays the costs verses benefits assessed by company's undertaking information security initiatives in Europe in 2015. A majority share of 64 percent of respondents were able to evaluate the cost verses benefit, of those who could evaluate the benefits. Of that group, 44.3 percent responded the benefits were greater than the costs, while 15.6 percent thought the benefits were lower than the costs.

The survey was conducted in July 2015. The 331 European participants were part of a larger group of 1196 professionals who work at companies in the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors across different industries in Europe, North America, Central & South America and Asia.
