Direct costs of thermal electricity generation rose to from 99 million to 180.1 million British pounds between 2013 and 2016, falling on the subsequent years, reaching 103.1 million British pounds as of 2018. On the other hand, the nuclear electricity generation sector rose slowly and steadily between 2013 and 2018, amounting to 202 million and 212.5 million British pounds respectively.
