The figure shows the main factors influencing consumers’ choice of supermarket in Italy in 2016. According to the survey 75.7 percent chose their supermarket based on an average price level, followed by the quality of fresh products (74.5 percent). Location, parking and big brands had different levels of importance for shoppers when choosing their supermarket.
