Distribution of theatrical movie releases in Sweden 2021, by origin
In 2021, North American films accounted for nearly 38 percent of theatrical movie releases in Sweden. Swedish productions made up less than 19 percent of the total, while titles from other European countries accounted for about 36 percent of the premieres. Sweden's box office gross increased by around 19 percent in 2021.
