In 2023, there were 51.2 million users of social media platform Facebook in the United Kingdom. In 2028, the number of monthly active Facebook users is projected to reach 49 million individuals. In January 2020, Facebook reached a market share of 37.27 percent. In 2018, the services offered through Facebook reached all age groups in the country but slightly more female users than male users. Facebook gets used more than once a day by around 45 percent of the UK online population. Only 21 percent of UK adults that go online don't use Facebook at all.
