This statistic displays the results of survey about the annual audience reach of cinema and movie theaters in the Netherlands from 2014 to 2019, by age. The survey results show that in 2019, respondents between 16 and 30 years of age visited the cinema more than their older and younger counterparts. Over 88 percent of 16 to 30 year olds visited the cinema or a movie theater at least once in 2019, compared to just over 35 percent of people aged 65 or older.
