Share of online gamblers in Australia in 2011, by age group

For the period between December 2010 and June 2011, banner advertisements containing links to the survey were placed on a range of Australian websites, including Internet and terrestrial gambling operators, gambling help and treatment sites, and sites of sporting organizations. Advertisements were also run on Australian Facebook and Google sites to increase exposure amongst the general population. The majority of respondents heard about the survey via Internet gambling websites (58.9 percent).
