This statistic illustrates the results of a survey on the most popular types of roasted and ground coffee in Germany from 2017 to 2020. During the 2020 survey period it was found that roughly 9 percent of Germans aged 14 years and older mainly drank naturally mild, non-acidic coffee.

Information on base:
The survey is based on the German-speaking population aged 14 years and older in private households at main residence in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Information on random sample:
2016: 23,102 respondents, projected base of 69.56 million persons.
2017: 23,106 respondents, projected base of 70.09 million persons.
2018: 23,086 respondents, projected base of 70.45 million persons.
2019: 23,120 respondents, projected base of 70.60 million persons.
