The majority of international tourists to Northern Ireland came from Great Britain, accounting for more than 1.46 million trips in 2019. This was followed by tourists from the Republic of Ireland which accounted for over 755 thousand trips. Tourists from the U.S. came in third, with nearly 212 thousand trips.
