Figures are a grand total of the number of employees in the Canadian mining and quarrying, support activities for mining, non-metallic mineral product manufacturing, primary metal manufacturing, and fabricated metal product manufacturing sectors.
Figures differ from the 2008-2017 figures as the source for 2018 and 2019 only states that the figure refers to 'Direct' mining jobs.
