Antibiotics are medications that can kill or hinder the growth of bacteria which cause infections in people and animals. In 2022, 37 percent of respondents in Italy reported that they would like to receive more information about how to use antibiotics, while 40 percent of respondents reported that they would like to receive more information about medical conditions for which antibiotics are used.
