The total volume of telephone calls made in Finland decreased steadily from 2013 to 2023. Throughout this period, the number of landline calls declined constantly, from 364 million calls in 2013 to 94 million calls in 2023. The number of mobile calls peaked in 2013 at over 4.7 billion and decreased thereafter. As of 2023, the number of mobile calls totaled roughly 2.9 billion.
