Fruit production volume in Denmark 2020-2021
From 2020 to 2021, the production volume of apples decreased substantially in Denmark. In 2020, approximately 40 thousand metric tons of apples were produced, while the production volume amounted to nearly 31 thousand metric tons in 2021. Apples are the most widely produced fruit in the country. By comparison, pears were the second most produced fruit in that same year, with an amount of around 7.1 thousand metric tons.

In the period from 2012 to 2019, the producer price of apples decreased from 380 Danish kroner per 100 kilograms to 326 Danish kroner. In 2021, the price peaked at 471 Danish kroner per 100 kilograms.
