Attendance at dance shows and entertainment events with music in Italy grew sharply in 2022 compared to the previous year but remained below the figures reported before the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. While dance shows and nightclubs recorded over 41 million admissions in 2019, this figure reached under 30 million in 2022. That year, attendance at entertainment events with music was roughly 16.6 million, decreasing from nearly 24 million in 2019.
