The statistic illustrates the results of a survey on the question of how important social media is in terms of contributing to professional football clubs' own brand value in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2015. During the survey period, it was found that 62 percent of responding finance directors from teams in the English Premier League stated that social media was highly important in terms of contributing to their club's brand value.

* A total of 60 interviews were completed with finance directors of teams in the following leagues, representing the according percentages of existing finance directors in the leagues:
English Premier League: 13 clubs - 65 percent.
Football League Championship: 16 clubs - 66 percent.
Football League 1: 11 clubs - 46 percent.
Football League 2: 16 clubs - 66 percent.
Scottish Premiership: 4 clubs - 33 percent.
