The expected allocation of information technology (IT) budgets in 2025, according to a 2024 survey of North American and European IT professionals, is the largest for the hardware and software segments, accounting for 19 percent of the total IT budget for each segment, respectively. By contrast, managed service projects will only be allocated 10 percent of a company IT budget for 2025.
