Number of domestic trips in Turkey 2009-2023

The number of domestic trips in Turkey increased in 2021 over the previous year, after falling sharply in 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In 2023, domestic travelers made slightly fewer trips, amounting to 61.5 million. While this figure shows an increase compared to the volume in the past three years, it remained below pre-pandemic levels.
