Smartphone user penetration in Sweden 2011-2017
More and more Swedes had access to a smartphone at home between 2011 and 2018. In fact, approximately 90 percent of the respondents to the survey in 2018 reported to be smartphone users. By comparison, in 2011, only 27 percent of the Swedes stated it. Smartphones were, furthermore, a popular device to use the internet on in Sweden in 2018, especially among younger respondents. Swedes of ages between 16 and 25 who used the internet daily via smartphones amounted at 97 percent that year.
