Bank card payments were the most common payment method for all types of digital games in Russia in 2020, with the highest share displayed for mobile games at 72 percent. Payments from phone balance were the second most popular method for mobile game purchases, while for PC and console games purchases e-wallet transactions ranked second in popularity.
