The share of consumers who purchased items online via smartphone or tablet in Denmark constantly increased from 2012 to 2018. As of 2018, roughly 54 percent of the interviewed Danes had shopped online on the mobile devices, which was a dramatic increase, compared to 2012, when the corresponding figure was 21 percent.
