The reach of national and regional daily newspapers in the Netherlands was highest among those aged 65 and older in the fourth quarter of 2022, amounting to 33.4 percent and 31.3 percent respectively. Reach of national printed daily newspapers was higher than regional, with 16.3 percent of individuals aged 13 years old or above having read one in Q4 2022, compared to 14.3 percent of those reached by regional papers.
