Investments of non-MMF investment funds in long-term securities Netherlands 2006-2016

The source defines mon-MMF investment funds as "collective investment schemes which are principally engaged in issuing investment fund shares or units, and, on their own account, to make investments primarily in financial assets other than short-term financial assets and in non-financial assets (usually real estate). The money market funds are excluded from the investment funds."

The source defines long-term securities as "all transferable securities, which generally do not mature within one year. They are usually quoted at the stock exchange. The interest on long-term bonds is made payable through coupons. Mortgage bonds, notes issued by banks and convertible bonds as long as they have not been converted into shares, also beng to this type of assets."

In 2014, Statistics the Netherlands has conducted a major revision on their macro-economic data. The national accounts have been compiled in accordance with the guidelines and concepts of the new European System of Accounts 2010 (ESA 2010). In addition, new statistical sources and estimation methods have been used during the revision. This table shows the figures from 2008 after revision, the figures up to 2008 have not changed.
