This survey shows the average household expenditure in Sweden in 2012, by type of housing. Average household expenditure was highest in owner-occupied private houses and it amounted to 386,770 Swedish krona. Households in rented dwellings had the lowest expenditure which was measured at almost 236 thousand Swedish krona in 2012.
