In 2023, Petróleos Mexicanos, commonly known as Pemex, reported net sales of approximately 92 billion U.S. dollars, a decrease of nearly 24 percent in comparison to the previous year. That same year, the company's net income totaled some 482 million U.S. dollars. Pemex is the state-owned Mexican petroleum company and one of the largest national oil corporations in Latin America.
