Employees in the mining industry earned around 5,800 euros per month on average in 2022, while employees in the accommodation and serving industry earned just around 2,000 euros per month.

The source adds: "The monthly wage is the agreed gross salary, excluding bonuses/allowances, but including the value according to tax of non-monetary remuneration liable to tax and paid overtime. The private tax benefits of a company car are not included. There is a difference between monthly wage including paid overtime and excluding paid overtime. The numbers displayed here are the monthly wages including overtime.
The average monthly wage in a year is determined by dividing the yearly wage sum by 12 times the average number of jobs in that year."
