Number of unemployment benefit recipients in Sweden 2022, by age group

In 2022, people between 30 and 34 years of age was the largest group of recipients of unemployment benefits in Sweden. Over 34,000 people in this age group received unemployment benefits that year. The second highest number of recipients were between 35 and 39 years old. The lowest number of recipients could be found among youth aged 24 years or less, of which 11,000 people received unemployment benefits in 2022.
