The statistic illustrates the total value of financing extended by the European Investment Bank between 2000 and 2019 to projects in selected European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries, broken down by country. It can be seen that almost 2.3 trillion euros was invested into development in Norway during the twenty years under observation, with a further 949 billion euros being invested into projects in Iceland during that same time period.
