The annual revenue of the wholesale trade in agricultural commodities and live animals in Italy from 2010 to 2021 has been affected by some changes. After 2011, the annual turnover of the wholesale trade in agricultural commodities and live animals increased sharply reaching a peak of approximately 21.4 billion euros in 2012 while in the following years it showed a decrease. Revenue continued to decline until 2020, when it reached 18.7 billion. By 2021, industry revenue rose once again reaching about 22.5 billion, the highest value to date.
